I have extensive experience of working with Neurodiversity (ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia etc). My experience also includes working with issues around Abuse, Trauma, Identity, loss and bereavement, death anxiety, transitions throughout life, relationship and marital issues (breakdown/divorce) and stress.

Supervision for Counsellors & Therapists

As a therapist I work with a diverse client group, this adds depth to the supervision I can offer to individuals or groups.

Supervision is a collaboration between two colleagues, a chance to explore the ethical, functional and developmental aspects of our work together.

With oversight we can share your reflections of your client work, and offer support, validation and insights into blocks and challenges of awareness of
relational games etc.

The supervision relationship is an important arena for both personal and professional growth, as well as learning and developing skills and new resources.

My experience

Through my work I have become experienced with people from all walks of life and across the age spectrum (12 to 80) from a wide range of backgrounds. Whatever our backgrounds, we are all unique, as such therapy is a deeply personal journey.

Part of my training with the *NHS counselling service *(Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust) working with 12 to 24 years young people and adolescents. I have also worked with other organisations, such as Relate, Catalyst, and Step by Step.

I have been certified to work either Face to Face, online or via the telephone.

My theoretical approach

I am a trained integrative counsellor, meaning I can work using a variety of approaches including Person-centred, Existential, Behavioural, and Psychodynamic modalities. I am part of the therapeutic community and actively involved with a variety of groups, I also receive monthly supervision and guidance on best practice. I have a keen curiosity and remain open to new ideas and the development of therapeutic techniques.
